THIS IS WORKING — KEEP UP THE PRESSURE
just a note to the programmers on here: if your work involves ai, neural networks, or other expensive algorithms designed to replace human judgement, consider how much it's truly meant to be more equitable and/or efficient and whether it meets that goal. if it doesn't and you're just automating existing judgement at great expense, the purpose of including a neural network is to obfuscate culpability
this is not theoretical
shout out that computer some company trained to hire lacrosse-playing Jareds.
I don't know. There has to be something unique about the experience of reading a webcomic as its creator realizes they're trans and also realizing you're trans at the same time
Like it was perfectly set up to lure in shitty nerd tween me with its shitty nerd humor and horny wish fulfillment fantasy and get me invested. And then I had to watch Tedd realize they were genderfluid UPDATE BY UPDATE and I just had this like physical feeling in my chest and gut like. I don't really know how to describe it. It was a scary but good feeling. I hope when June becomes a thing she can do that for eggs reading homestuck
EGS is wild. Like it starts out as like a shamelesly horny (but somehow sfw enough to maintain plausible deniability) TF fetish comic with pretty bad art but you get to watch it improve as a comic AND watch the author improve as a person. And then suddenly the shit hits the fan and everyone is like Actually Transgender and there's a magic the gathering subplot??? and an actual compelling story and it's still horny but only on the sketches page not really the main comic
My first like Big Time Realization (not just looking back and going Ohh In Retrospect Thats Gender Actually) was when tedd from el goonish shive realized they were genderfluid. I was genderfluid for a while but then I realized being a boy sucked and I didn't want to just go 50/50 when half of it sucked
Bi, nonbinary, tealbloods liker.
